CAIRO-31 October 2020: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that the team’s Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, has developed his game this season.
Klopp said that Salah is a good example for his teammates as the Egyptian always wants to improve and adapt to different roles.
“Mo has played an incredible season so far, and he developed again as a player from that pure goalscoring machine to a more connecting player, very important for us.” Klopp said.
The Egyptian winger scored six goals for the Reds this season in the league and he comes third in the goal scorers list behind Spurs’ winger Son Heung-Min and Everton’s striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Klopp added “He is the hardest working, can go and go again, uses his speed but technique between the lines as well.”
Liverpool did not have a great start in the Premier League this season as they lost five points after six rounds in the league. However, Liverpool are sharing the top of the table with city rivals, Everton, with 13 points each.
