CAIRO-9 October 2020: Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman hails Barcelona’s young winger, Ansu Fati, for his amazing performance with the team this season.
“We're talking about a player who is only 17 years old, he has played three matches in a row at the highest level, which means he is very good," Koeman said.
Fati scored three out of Barcelona’s eight goals this season in the league and he booked a place in Koeman’s starting eleven.
The Dutch manager added “He is a talent, but he has to learn a lot more but I think he wants to do that. We're here to help him; I think that there isn't any other player in the world at that age who is in the senior team."
Barcelona have enjoyed a strong start to the season after achieving two victories over Villarreal and Celta Vigo and their game against Sevilla ended with a 1-1 draw.
The manager continued “"We must improve, but we have to also recognise that we have only been working with this new system for five weeks, like any coach you always crave more time."
Barcelona appointed Koeman as the team new manager after they sacked Quique Setien following the club’s humiliation 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
