Liverpool fans asked Salah to delete an old tweet

CAIRO – 29 June 2017: Liverpool fans asked Mohamed Salah to delete an old tweet from his time with Chelsea, the tweet caused embarrassment for Liverpool fans because of its memory.

Salah did not play a lot with Chelsea but he was on the pitch when Liverpool lost 2-0 against Chelsea which affected their campaign to win the league, the match is also remembered with Liverpool former captain Steven Gerrard slip.


Salah posted a photo of one of the goal scorers in that match Demba Ba when he got injured wishing him to get well, the photo showed them together celebrating his goal against Liverpool.

Salah joined Liverpool this summer from Roma for € 44 million ($50 million) as the highest transfer in Liverpool history, Liverpool fans put much hope on Salah to help the team winning the Premier League.
