Al Ahly to celebrate league title against Misr Lel Makkasa

CAIRO-19 September 2020: Al Ahly host Misr Lel Makkasa on Saturday night in the 28th week of the Egyptian Premier League at Cairo International stadium

Al Ahly enter the game after securing the league title trophy as Aswan defeated the second-placed Zamalek 1-0 on Friday night to crown the Red Devils champions.

Al Ahly players aim to defeat Misr Lel Makkasa to celebrate their fifth consecutive league title and the 42nd title in the club’s history with a victory.

Al Ahly lead the Egyptian Premier League table with 72 points, with 17 points ahead of Zamalek.

Al Ahly’s winger Hussein El Shahat returns to the team squad for the first time since the restart of football competitions in Egypt as he fully recovered from the surgery he underwent two months ago.

The two teams met in 17 occasions and the Red Devils have the upper hand in the clash as they won 12 games, drew on three occasions and lost only two games.
