CAIRO – 28 June 2017: “I know Cristiano [Ronaldo] is angry, but I think he will stay,” Florentino Perez, Real Madrid’s president, said to esRadio on June 27.
Perez clarified Ronaldo’s current situation with Real Madrid and spoke regarding all the important issues that revolve around Madrid’s striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I haven't spoken with him. The only thing that has to be done is to wait and talk after the Confederations [Cup].” Perez said to esRadio.
"I have spoken with Mendes (Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent) about him. No need to worry more than [is needed]." Perez added.
Perez then moved on to talk about Ronaldo’s tax evasion accusations.
"He is a man of integrity and has fulfilled with his duties. There are many people who have wanted to hurt him with taxes and other topics and he feels it,” Perez said.
According to the Metro and the Sun, Ronaldo will be looking for a move this summer after being accused of tax fraud. Clubs like Manchester United and Paris-Saint Germain stand in line to sign the all time Portuguese goal scorer.
