It's a dream come true, Davies

CAIRO-20 August 2020: Bayern Munich left back Alphonso Davies stated that reaching the UEFA Champions League final is a dream.

 

Davies' statements came after he participated in Bayern Munich's 3_0 victory over Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Champions League semi-final. 

 

"t's a dream come true. Playing in the UEFA Champions League and making it to the final; it's everything you can ask for." Davies said after the game. 

 

The Canadian youngster, who joined Bayern Munich in 2018 from Vancouver Whitecaps, is expected to feature in the UEFA Champions League final for the first time in his career. 

 

He added "Everyone's happy and playing well. These guys have basically won everything but they're still excited. They're still hungry to win this one."

 

The Canadian defender has been sensational for the Bavarian giants during their route to the final. 

 

Bayern Munich reached the competition's final for the first time since 2013 when they won the title in London after defeating their arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund.

 

The five-time winners Bayern Munich will face the first-time finalists Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night at the Estadio da Luz.
