CAIRO-14 August 2020: Spanish giants, Barcelona, face German champions Bayern Munich on Friday night in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
Barcelona manager Quique Setién preferred to count on a 4_4_2 formation and decided to keep Antoine Griezmann on the bench.
Setién's starting line-up for the game consists of: Marc Andre ter Stegen, Gerard Pique, Clement Langlet, Jordi Alba, Nelson Semedo, Frankie de Jong, Sergi Roberto, Sergio Busquets, Arturo Vidal, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies received the green light to participate in the game after suffering from a slight injury last week.
Bayern Munich manager Hans-Dieter Flick's starting line-up for the match consists of: Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, David Alaba, Alphonso Davies, Joshua Kimmich, Thiago Alcantara, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller, Ivan Perisic and Robert Lewandowski.
The last time the two teams met in the competition was in 2015 UEFA Champions League semis when Barcelona won the tie 5-3 to advance to the final.
The German giants are the favourites to advance to the semi-finals after clinching the domestic double as well as producing top class performances in the competition.
