CAIRO, 28 July 2020: Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah bid farewell to his Croatian colleague Dejan Lovren, who moved to Zenit St Petersburg on Monday.
Liverpool announced the departure of the Croatian defender to the Russian team after 6 years in Anfield.
Liverpool's Twitter account posted a message from Salah to Lovren:

"I don't know how to say, my friend. You don't know my feeling right now. We're really going to miss you a lot - especially me,” Salah told the club website.
"You've been an unbelievable player and a great friend for me. We're going to miss you a lot. I miss you a lot, I love you so much. You've been fantastic outside the field and inside the field.
"So, thank you for everything you did for the club, thank you for everything you did for me. I wish you all the best in the future and I wish you to have a great career as well, enjoying the new club with your family.
"Thank you very much and see you soon."
The 31-year-old Lovren joined Liverpool in 2014 from Southampton for 20 million pounds.
He played 15 games this season with Liverpool between the English Premier League and the Champions League.
In general, Lovren participated in 185 games with the Reds, during which he scored 8 goals and made 4.
The Croatian international decorated his six seasons with Liverpool with the English Premier League crown that returned to Liverpool lockers after 30 years of absence.
And after the coronation of the European Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup in 2019.
