I call him ‘Dad’: Rodrygo on Modric

CAIRO, 26 JULY 2020: Real Madrid player Rodrygo revealed a strange relationship that brings him together with veteran teammate Luka Modric.

Rodrigo, 19, is spending his first year at Real Madrid, and he seems to have found the perfect environment already with players with experience like Modric (34)

"My relationship is strong with Modric, the relationship of a father to his son," Rodrigo said in an interview with his followers on Twitter.

He continued: "When he found out that my father is 35, he didn’t not believe it."

He revealed: "He told me: Well, respect me, because I am old enough to be your father."

He continued, "From that time on, I call him ‘Dad’, and he calls me ‘Son’."

When asked about his favorite player, he replied: "Cristiano Ronaldo."

He continued: "Playing with Eden Hazard is like a dream because I consider it my role model. It is an honor to play next to him."
