Messi turns 30

CAIRO – 24 June 2017: Lionel Messi, famous footballer for Argentina and FC Barcelona, celebrated his 30th birthday on Saturday.

The 30-year-old has played in an overall total of 701 games and has earned 30 trophies during his career. He has scored 565 goals and 281 assists with 41 hat tricks and four golden boots and five Ballons d’Or.

According to Skysports, Messi scored his first goal with Barcelona after playing for seven and a half months on May 1, 2005. The shot was lobbed past the goalkeeper for Albacete in the Spanish League (La Liga).

Messi is believed by many to be one of the most talented football players in the history of the sport.
