Preview: Confederations Cup Day 6

CAIRO – 24 June 2017: On the sixth day of the Confederations Cup, Saturday, June 24, Russia will host group A. The matches will take place between June 17 and July 2. Group A will play their third and last round in the group stages.

Russia will play Mexico at Kazan Stadium in Kazan, and Portugal will go head to head against New Zealand in Spartak Stadium in Moscow. Both matches will be played at 5 p.m. Cairo time. The Russians will be looking for a victory in order to solidify qualification to the next round. Mexico will only need a draw to qualify against Portugal for the next round.

Portugal will enter their match against New Zealand looking for at least one point to qualify for the next round. However, New Zealand has no hope in qualifying after losing their last two matches.

After playing two rounds, Mexico is first with 4 points, and Portugal second, also with 4 points. Russia is in third with 3 points and New Zealand is last with no points.
