Salah ‘best player’ on Twitter poll on match vs. Watford

CAIRO – 23 June 2017: Mohamed Salah’s fan base in Italy seems to seriously be in droves! Salah racked up the majority of votes on a poll created by AS Roma official Twitter account on who amongst Liverpool’s newly signed players is expected to earn the best player title in the club’s upcoming clash with Watford in August.



Earlier on Thursday, the two-month controversy on Salah’s on-off move to Premier League Liverpool has finally got finalized. The 25 year-old ex Roma's winger signed a 5 year contract with Liverpool after reaching an agreement with Roma for $35 million.

As news has trickled out, Salah’s transfer pact to Liverpool has reportedly stumbled for financial reasons, as Roma valued Salah at £40 million ($51 million) to sell him, while Liverpool held out for £32 million ($40.75 million)

Back in 2014, he had previously turned down Liverpool’s offer before playing for Chelsea where he endured a disappointing spell.
