Salah Egyptian voyager in European Football

CAIRO – 23 June 2017: Saleh’s life has been a journey of facing his challenges and overcoming them, whether in Egypt or in his dreams of conquering Europe.

He began his career with Arab Contractors, he attracted football fans eyes with his speed, strength and passion until he eventually earned a starting position in the national team without having played in biggest teams in Egypt. A feat easy by no means.

He had a dream to play in Europe so he refused the offers from Al Ahly and Zamalek and the fame that would come from playing for them and went to Switzerland to join FC Basel.

Like he always did, his performance and important goals with the Swiss club in those 2 years caught the eye of Jose Mourinho.

Salah subsequently went to the place where Football was born, England. He achieved his dream by joining Chelsea. After one year without much impact at the club, football fans his performance there as a failure with a big team,but he believed in himself and took a step to Italy.

Salah earned football fans in Italy through half season with Fiorentina and another 2 great years with Roma, which returned him to the top of his game and contributed to what many consider as a rejuvenation to his career.

Liverpool is the next step in Salah’s journey, a new challenge for the player, but one in which surely he will succeed.
