Egyptian football will overcome coronavirus crisis, Mido

CAIRO-25 April 2020: Former Egyptian international Ahmed Hossam Mido believes that football in Egypt will overcome the coronavirus crisis.

Football competitions in Egypt and worldwide have been halted due to the spread of coronavirus.

"I expect the football season to be completed. Everything will be more clear after the holy month of Ramadan." Mido told Filgoal.

On 14 March, Egyptian Football Association, EFA, announced that all football-related activities are suspended as a result of the spread of coronavirus and the suspension includes fixtures of all Egyptian league divisions and age groups.

Mido added "Egyptian football has gone through difficult times and we were able to overcome these challenges."
