Sundowns rejects Al Ahly's interest in Sirino

Khaled Ali, media coordinator for Mamelodi Sun Downs, said the decision not to approve Al-Ahly's request to include Gaston Sirino is final.

Khaled Ali spoke to ON Time Sports" channel, saying: "Al-Ahly asked us verbally to include Sirino after the 2nd leg match between us."

"I spoke to the coach of the team, Pitsu Musimani, and informed me of his need for the player to compete for the CAF Champions League title next season."

"This is also the management's decision, and the player has a three-year contract with the club. So the final decision is to keep the player with us." Khaled concluded.

The former San Luis player in Chile and Bolivar in Bolivia, has starred with Sun Downs since January 2018, scoring 22 goals and making 26 in 90 appearances in the Brazilian jersey.
