CAIRO_18 April 2020: Al Ahly Tunisian defender, Ali Maaloul, revealed that he enjoys a wonderful relationship with the club and Al Ahly fans and what he feels for the club goes beyond any contract.
"I received a mega offer to leave Al Ahly last season but he respected the club's decision to reject the offer. I want to retire at Al Ahly." Maaloul said on Friday during an interview with the club's channel.
Maaloul left his childhood club, CS Sfaxien, to join Al Ahly in 2016 and since then he became the team's most important player and played a massive role in all the club's achievements during the last five years.
Maaloul added, "When I received Al Ahly's offer, I told my manager at CS Sfaxien that I had an offer from Egypt and he told me to go if it was from Al Ahly."
Since his arrival from Tunisia, the player scored 19 goals, provided 39 assists in 121 appearances.
Maaloul continued "Al Ahly is a great club to be at and I want to retire here at Al Ahly."
