Ashour has two offers from UAE: Sayed Marey

Hossam Ashour's agent, Sayed Marey, said that Al Ahly's captain has two offers from the UAE league, and he discussed the possibility of joining Zamalek.

Al Ahly informed their team captain Ashour earlier in March that he is not in the Rene Weiler’s, Al Ahly’s manager, plans and offered him a position at the club's official channel.

"I have already brought two Emirati offers for Hossam Ashour," Marey said on ON Time Sports 2.

He added: "If Ashour wanted to join Zamalek, and Zamalek wanted to include him in return, then why not take the step?"

However, the 34-year-old midfielder told Egyptian Giants [Al Ahly] that he wishes to continue his professional career as a footballer.

Al Ahly’s number 25 [Ashour] won the following titles: 12 Egyptian Leagues, 8 Egyptian Super Cups, 5 CAF Champion Leagues and 5 CAF Super Cups along with other trophies during his 15 years at the club.

Al Ahly announced that this season will be the last for also Ahmed Fathi and Sherif Ekrami. Fathi joined Pyramids FC and Ekrami is in the process of joining another club which will be announced later.
