Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid’s captain, spoke following Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss against Levante about the importance of the upcoming period to the Spanish club.
The Spanish defender [Ramos] spoke to the press following the loss in the La Liga [Spanish League] about the next two matches against Manchester City and Barcelona.
“A magical week is coming, it's a big thing to play the Champions League and the LaLiga leader. It's a week to show what we are about and take a giant step forward by beating City first and then the Clásico,” Ramos said according to Real Madrid’s official website.
Real Madrid is set to play against Manchester City in the first leg of the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, followed by a match in the Spanish League with La Liga’s first position Barcelona on March 1.
Also, the Spanish International [Ramos] commented on Hazard’s injury in the last minutes against Levante saying that such injury is “bad news” to Real Madrid’s squad.
“It seems that when he's well again and helping the team, he'll suffer another injury," Ramos said reporting from Real Madrid’s official website.
Several news websites including Goal reported that Hazard is expected to be out for the upcoming three to four months with Real Madrid’s official website announcing that Belgium’s International winger [Hazard] is diagnosed with a fracture to his right distal fibula.
