CAIRO – 14 February 2020: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, has been named the club’s player of the month for January after he played a massive role in his team’s victories during the month, which helped the Reds maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League.

Salah scored three goals and provided three assists to his teammates to help Liverpool get 15 points out of the team’s five games during the month.

“Thank you. I am happy to win this award and as I’ve said before many times, the important thing is to win the games and I think we did well that month, so hopefully we’ll keep [going] like that.” Salah told Liverpool official website after receiving the award.

Salah won the Player of the Month award for the second time this season after he received the award in August.

Salah and his teammates eye keeping their Premier League’s winning streak alive when they face Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Salah added “I think we had a good break and everyone is fresh and everyone is excited to go again, so hopefully we will be ready for the game.”
