Zamalek defeats Ismaily in Ismailia for the first time since 2006

"Zamalek does not achieve victory in Ismailia." A sentence that no longer has any meaning after the White Knight managed to defeat the Darawish in Ismailia.

The White Knight defeated Al-Ismaili 2-0 in the 17th round of the Egyptian League.

Al-Ismaili first took the lead through Baher Al-Muhammadi from the penalty spot in the first half, before Zamalek turned the table to their favor with the goals of Youssef Ibrahim "Obama" and Mahmoud Alaa in the second half.

Before Sunday's confrontation, Zamalek had not been able to overthrow Ismaili at their home 14 years ago, specifically on September 26, 2006 when they won by the goal of Magdi Atwa.

Zamalek, led by Portuguese Manuel Kagoda, defeated Ismaili, coached by Mark Futah in the seventh round of the 2006-2007 season.
