Zamalek vs Wadi Degla- file
Abdelbaki Gamal, the general coach of Wadi Degla, believes that his team wasted a win over Zamalek, in the match that ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening in the Egyptian League.
"We could have achieved a better result, we wasted easy opportunities, and in the first half we had a penalty kick that the referee did not count," Abdelbaky said on the youth and sports radio.
"Zamalek is a great team and a draw is a win, but at this level we were more likely to win."
He continued, "We are happy with the performance and results in the last 4 rounds, we won twice, we tied like them and we hope to continue with the same rhythm, Degla is among the top teams in creating chances & wasting them,"
"We suffered a lot from lack of confidence due to stumbling in the first rounds," he said.
"As for the last 12 games of the last season, we lost only once against Zamalek, so when the results improve, I am confident that we will appear better and stronger."
