Bayern Munich announced the signing of Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola on loan until the end of the current season.
Bayern Munich CEO Carl Heinz Rummenigge said: "After internal talks we decided to agree to the coach's request to strengthen the defense, and we decided to bring Odriozola together."
"We are very happy with the signing and we would like to thank all Real Madrid officials for their cooperation in the negotiations," he added.
"We are convinced that Odriozola will help our team with the quality he owns, and very happy that we found a right-back like him," said Hassan Salmedzic, sports director of the German club.
The 24-year-old joined Real Madrid from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2018, for 30 million euros.
And he participated with the Spanish international this season in only 5 games in all competitions with Real Madrid, during which he made one assist.
