FILE: Egypt's Minister of Youth Ashraf Sobhy
CAIRO, Jan 4 (MENA) - The executive office of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministers Council convened its 64th session on Saturday at the premises of the Arab League under Egyptian Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy.
The agenda of the council includes a number of topics that address Arab youth issues, atop of which are updating the Arab policies regarding youth, launching a campaign to empower youth during the upcoming meeting of the council and inking a MoU between the council and the United Nations Population Fund, said Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Social Affairs Haifa Abu Ghazaleh.
Saturday's meeting took up a set of topics of interest to Arab athletes, especially those with regard to a proposal to establish an Arab institute for sports science and human development, Abu Ghazaleh added.
