Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has admitted that the Nerazzurri is interested in signing Barcelona player Arturo Vidal.
Zanetti said: "We will see how the winter transfer market will go, and we have one month to get things done."
"Vidal is an experienced player who has a great personality, and we will see what happens. We are talking about a player who is able to raise our level, and we are already at a good level," he added, speaking to ESPN.
The Spanish newspaper ABC had reported in a report two days ago that Vidal had started proceedings against Barcelona due to the non-payment of financial rewards amounting to 2.4 million euros.
The newspaper said that the player's lawyer filed a lawsuit on the fifth of December because of Vidal's failure to obtain rewards related to posts.
According to the report, it is assumed that the player will receive two million euros when he plays 60% of the official Blaugrana games last season.
The Chilean midfielder has not reached that many matches, as he has to play at least 45 minutes in the match, which will exempt him from receiving rewards according to the club.
The player's lawyers also rely on the failure of Chile to obtain the rewards of the team's arrival last season in the Champions League quarter-finals and is also estimated at 1.4 million euros for each stage, but the club discounted 50% of them.
The player also received only 50% of the rewards for winning the Spanish League title, as he won one million and 693 thousand euros instead of 4 million and 79 thousand.
The report stated that Barcelona sees it as a move by the player to allow him to leave the club in the winter transfer market.
Vidal, 32, has played 19 games this season, scored 5 and scored one goal.
