CAIRO – 28 December 2019: Zamalek French manager, Patrice Carteron, announced on Saturday the team starting line-up for the clash against Zambia’s ZESCO United on Saturday afternoon.
The French manager decided to keep the team regular striker, Mostafa Mohamed, on the bench and he will count on Achraf Bencharki, Mohamed Ounajem and Youssef Ibrahim Obama.
Carteron’s starting line-up for the game consists of: Mohamed Abou Gabal, Mahmoud Alaa, Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Mahmoud Hamdy, Mohamed Abdel Shafy, Ferjani Sassi, Ahmed Sayed Zizou, Achraf Bencharki, Mohamed Ounajem and Youssef Ibrahim Obama.
CAF Confederation Cup champions, Zamalek, are having a good journey at CAF Champions League as they are second at the group with three points after defeating Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto 2-0 at matchweek 2.
Despite the team’s success on continental level, they are suffering at the domestic league as the team dropped 7 points at the last three games of the league after losing to El Gaish and drew with Smouha and El Entag.
