Egypt's Ahly beat Sudan's Hilal in CL group stage

CAIRO - 7 December 2019: Egypt's Al Ahly defeated Sudan's Al Hilal 2-1 in their second round clash of the CAF Champions League's group stage at Cairo's El Salam Stadium Friday.

Hussein El-Shahat and Ramadan Sobhi scored for the hosts, while Atahir Eltahir narrowed the gap for the the Sudanese guests.

With their first Group B win, the Cairo giants claimed three points in the third place behind Hilal with the same score.
