Al Ahly defeat Beni Suef 3-1

Al Ahly kicked off their Egypt's Cup campaign for the 2019/2020 season with an easy 3-1 win over Beni Suef in the Cairo Stadium.

Al Ahly qualified for the last 16 of the tournament to face the winner from Enppi vs Tersana match.

Al-Ahly played a match against Beni Suef with the aim of preparing to face Al-Hilal of Sudan next Friday in the second round of the African Champions League groups.

Al Ahly scored two goals through Walid Azzaro and one throughAhmed Al Sheikh. Beni Suef scored Ahmed Abdel Razek's goal in the 88th minute.

Al Ahly coach Rene Weiler relied at the start of the match on a variety of changes to give the substitutes a chance to participate and rest the key players before facing Al Hilal of Sudan.
