CAIRO – 29 November 2019: Zamalek striker, Mostafa Mohamed, believes that Zamalek players can achieve a good result at the opening game of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Zamalek opens the group stage games on Saturday afternoon in Congo against one of the title contenders, TP Mazembe.
“We are a big team and we will fight for the title this year and we are capable of achieving a good result against Mazembe.” Zamalek striker, Mostafa Mohamed, said.
Zamalek manager, Milutin Sredojević known as Micho, will count on Mostafa Mohamed’s incredible form to have a good start at the group stage.
Mohamed led the U-23 national team towards African title as he scored four goals through the tournament to secure the tournament’s top goal scorer award.
Micho praised the Congolese club, saying “Mazembe is a big team and they have many talented players but my players will fight for a good result despite the difficult circumstances.”
Zamalek secured 2019 CAF Confederation Cup title last season and they will fight to clinch their 6th title at the competition and their first title since 2002.
