English FA cancels Son's red card against Everton

Tottenham's Son Heong-min was sent off after intervening heavily against Everton's Andre Gomes. FA has canceled the Red card shown to Son.

A spokesman for the FA said: "Son will be available for the next three games of Tottenham after making sure that the red card was not a correct decision."

The decision to cancel the red card came after Tottenham asked FA to reconsider the case for not being correct.

Andre Gomes suffered a double fracture in the leg, which led to his urgent surgery and was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.

Tottenham have appealed against the referee's decision to expel the South Korean, leading to a three-match ban.

The match ended in a goalless draw at Goodison Park, home to Everton, in the 11th round of the Premier League.
