EFA reaches an agreement to apply VAR in the Egyptian league

Amr Al-Ganaini, chairman of the five-member committee of the Egyptian Football Association, said that he is in the process of signing contracts with one of the international specialized companies to apply Video Assistant Referee technology in the Egyptian league in the next few days.

Al-Ganaini said in a statement that the coming days will witness the announcement of the application of the latest Video Assistant Referee technology in the world in the Egyptian league games, where a Final agreement has been reached with one of the international companies.

The president of the Football Association said that it is only the training of Egyptian referees on video technology, which makes us postpone the application of the experiment until the beginning of the second stage of the league, pointing out that there are strong attempts to attend the matches of the league starting from January or February next.

It is noteworthy that more than one club in the Premier League called the Football Association to apply video technology in the Egyptian league.
