Top 10 players’ estimated transfer values.

CAIRO – 13 June 2017: As the 2016/17 football season draws to a close, here is a list of the top 10 players with the highest estimated transfer value, listed in descending order. The list was compiled by Bleacher Report.

10. Argentinean Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, estimated at 115.3m EUR (129m USD).

9. Premier League winner Eden Hazard Belgium, international player and Chelsea forward, with an estimated value of 117.2m EUR.

8. Gonzalo Higuain, one of three Argentineans in the list. The Juventus striker occupies eighth place with an estimated transfer value of 120.2m EUR.

7. Frenchmen Paul Pogba, Manchester United’s midfielder, with an estimated 134.3m EUR. Pogba also has the highest actual value of any player at the moment, at €105 million.

6. El Pistolero, Luis Suarez, Uruguay and Barcelona striker, at 140.8m EUR.

5. Another Frenchman on the list, striker Antoine Madrid of Griezmann Ateletico (Madrid striker), with 150.3m EUR.

4. Three-time UEFA best player and five-time Ballon d’Or winner: Madrid’s Leo Messi. The Argentina/Barcelona forward holds fourth place with an estimated transfer value of 151.7m EUR.

3. Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane in third place with 153.6m EUR. Kane participated in 38 matches in all competitions last season with Tottenham, scoring 35 goals.

2. English 21-year-old midfielder Dele Alli, for Tottenham, is in second place with €155.1m.

1. Brazilian captain and Barcelona wing Neymar Jr is the leader on the list, with a 210.7m EUR estimated value.

Bleacher Report’s list did not include any Champions League winners from Real Madrid despite the high expectations of Cristiano Ronaldo winning ‘best player of the world’ for 2016/2017.
