Spain defeats Macedonia

Cairo- June 14 2017: Diego Costa and David Silva scored two goals helping Spain win against Macedonia 2-1 on Sunday. Stefan Ristovski scored Macedonia’s lone goal during the 2018 World Cup qualifier match.

Italy won 5-0 against Liechtenstein on Sunday. Lorenzo Insigne, Andrea Belotti, Ederzito António Macedo Lopes, Federico Bernardeschi and Manolo Gabbiadini scored the five goals for Italy.

Spain and Italy have both accrued 16 points placing both teams at the top of group G.

Serbian Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored an equalizer to prevent Wales from winning the three points. Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey opened the score in the first half with a penalty. The group D match ended 1-1.

Serbia stayed on top of its group with 12 points, as Wales remained in third place with eight points.
