CAIRO – 25 October 2019: Juventus Italian captain, Giorgio Chiellini, revealed on Friday that having Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus is a privilege for him, stating that he is a player who can make a difference.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is like a hyena on the pitch, you look at him and you realise he's different from the rest, you will never see himself take it easy, he has important daily goals and everything he does is calculated with extreme care.” The Italian defender said.
Ronaldo joined Juventus during 2018 summer from Real Madrid with the aim to lead the Italian club to win the UEFA Champions League title for the third time in the club’s history and the first time since 1996.
Ronaldo and his teammates suffered a shock elimination against the talented Dutch side, Ajax, during 2019 UEFA Champions League quarter finals.
Chiellini commented on his team’s loss to Ajax, saying “ It hurt a lot to fall to Ajax, because I think that had we got through that tie then we'd have reached the final. These recent years we've lacked the ability to know how to handle a final.”
Juventus top their group at this season’s UEFA Champions League and they hope to put an end to their failure at the competition despite their domestic dominance.
