CAIRO – 3 October 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, scored two goals to lead his team, Liverpool, to defeat FC Red Bull Salzburg 4-3 and achieve their first victory at this season’s UEFA Champions League.

The Reds led the game with three goals after 35 minutes and their fans started to celebrate the comfortable victory but they were stunned at the next minutes as the Austrian team managed to score three goals to make the score 3-3 after 60 minutes.

“Because of the specific history of Salzburg, they were not really bothered. We opened the door and they were running through, chasing through the door.” Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, said after the game.

Salah was his team fans’ hero as he scored the winning goal 15 minutes away from the final whistle after Red Bull Salzburg defenders failed to clear the ball from their area.

“The atmosphere was brilliant and after 3-3 our people remembered we are at Anfield and there’s still something possible. They were really supportive and it helped a lot.” Klopp reacted after the game.

Liverpool comes second at the group with three points while Italian giants, Napoli, lead the group with four points after a draw against Genk.
