Dembele’s muscle injuries have no end

CAIRO – 28 September 2019: Barcelona Football Club announced on Saturday that the first team French winger, Ousmane Dembele, is not fit for the clash against Getafe at the Spanish League.

The player suffered a thigh injury and he will undergo more tests to find out the exact extent of the injury.

“The Barça striker has a problem in his left thigh and he will have more tests in Barcelona to find out the exact extent of the problem” Barcelona statement said.

Dembele just returned to the squad at the second half of Barcelona’s 2-1 victory over Villareal on Tuesday after spending the first weeks of the season recovering from a muscular injury he received a the opening game of the league against Athletic Bilbao.

Barcelona’s youngster Carles Perez will replace Dembele at Barcelona’s right flank as Barcelona biggest star, Lionel Messi, will miss the game for injury.

Barcelona starting line-up for the game consists of: Marc Andre Ter Stegen; Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet, Junior, Sergi Roberto; Arthur, Busquets, De Jong; Perez, Suarez and Griezmann.
