Infantino meets El Khatib, Mortada Mansour

CAIRO, 28 August 2019: FIFA President Gianni Infantino is to hold a meeting with top African clubs, led by Al Ahly and Zamalek.

The meeting will be attended by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly Club, and Mortada Mansour, president of Zamalek, according to Seif Zaher in ‘Mala’ab ON’ on ON Sport channel.

The meeting is scheduled to be held on September 11 in Cairo and there will be several presidents of the major clubs in the African continent.

Al Ahly and Zamalek qualified for the 32nd round in the CAF Champions League 2019/2020 edition. Both clubs thrashed their opponents with a 13-0 score on aggregate.

FIFA appointed a temporary committee to lead the Egyptian Football Association led by Amr El Ganainy. FIFA also set a date for the next EFA elections which will be after 10 months.
