Al Ahly prepare for the CAF Champions League start

CAIRO, 6 August 2019: Al Ahly continue their daily training in preparation for the matches against Atlabara, South Sudan club, in the 64th round of the African Champions League.

Both the first & second legs will be held in Egypt as the Reds reached an agreement with Sudanese club to play both games in Egypt.

Al Ahly started preparation on Friday to host the Sudanese club on Sunday, August 11th . The second leg will be on one of the three days, 23,24,25 August.

Al-Ahly achieved their 41st league title after a fierce competition with arch rivals, Zamalek.

The Reds ended the Egyptian league topping the standings with 80 points, 8 points above their rivals, Zamalek.

Zamalek have been topping the Egyptian league most of the past year but they wasted a lot of points in the last 10 rounds which affected their leadership.
