Valverde: I have to adapt to Barca’s style

CAIRO - 10 June 2017: New Barca coach Ernesto Valverde has insisted on adhering to Barcelona’s style of playing. He answered questions from fan in an interview with Barca website.

Valverde said, “I want to help this extraordinary group of players show their talent on the pitch and enjoy themselves.”

Valverde also replied to a question about who his favorite role model was from the list of Barcelona coaches and trainers. “I would like to be a bit like all of them,” he said.

Valverde praised the legacy of Barcelona’s former coach, Luis Enrique, because he was a great coach and always struggled playing against him when Valverde was manager of Athletic Bilbao.

Valverde added, “I will try to bring my experience as a coach in the premier division for years; I will try to do all the best I can.”

Barcelona announced Valverde Barcelona as coach last month and all Barca fans are looking forward the new era with him.
