Raneem El Welily&KarimAbdelgawad crown CIB International Squash Champions

CAIRO, 15 June 2019: The duo Raneem El Welily and Karim Abdel-Gawad won the CIB International Squash Championship for the first time in their history.

The Championship is organized by the WadiDegla club in Mall of Arabia on 6 October, it's for the top eight players in the world.

Raneem El Welily beat France’s Camille Serme 3-2 in an one hour game. While, Karim Abdelagawad defeated Mohamed Abu El Ghar 3-2 in a 92-minutes game; the longest game in the tournament.

CIB Squash Championship, organized by Wadi Degla club, is considered one of the Platinum championships, with prize money of 162 thousand dollars for men and the same for women. The tournament witnesses the participation of Eight World ranked players from Men & Women.

The tournament took place at Mall of Arabia, Sheikh Zayed City in Giza.
