CAIRO, 31 May 2019: The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has announced the name of Zamalek's opponent in the next game of the Egyptian league, Haras El Hedoud.
Zamalek faces Haras El Hedoud on Monday, June 3rd, at Alexandria stadium in the 30th round of the Egyptian League.
Zamalek's president fired the first team coach, Christian Gross, officially and appointed Khaled Galal as a permanent manager.
Zamalek's president took the decision right after his team's stumble against Al Intag Al Harby in the Egyptian League. They ended their game with a 1-1 draw in the postponed match from the 31st round.
Khaled Galal was on the bench as a coach for Zamalek before as he ruled four matches; won them all and achieved Egypt's Cup.
Zamalek faced Al Intag Al Harby at Petrosport stadium on Thursday night but failed in using their African joy to reap the three points.
Khaled Botayeb took the lead in the first minute of the second half before Al Intag Al Harby's Moaz Al Henawy leveld the score from the penalty spot.
The draw raised Zamalek points to 67 from 30 games. Seven points behind the leader, Al Ahly, who is on the top with 74 points from 32 games.
