Salah talks to BT Sport about UCL Final

CAIRO, 31 May 2019: "Do you prefer Harry Kane to miss the Final?" That was the question the former England striker and current pundit Gary Linker gave to Liverpool's Mohamed Salah before meeting Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool meets Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday night at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Spain to determine who will be UEFA Champions League title lifters.

In an interview with Gary Lineker for BT Sport, Salah was asked if he would prefer Harry Kane to miss the final. ‘Can I ask why you’re asking me that question?’ Salah replied.

And when Lineker put to him that if he were playing for Liverpool he’d prefer Kane to miss the game, Salah replied: ‘I prefer if he plays and all of us will be ready. ‘It’s a good competition when you play against the top in the game.

‘Harry Kane is a good player, he’s proved that for many years. ‘He’s a top scorer for the team, for English football… before I came [laughs], I’m sorry! ‘So, it’s good to be in a final, it’s something good to push me more.’
