Farida Othman gets silver at 2019 FINA Champions Swim Series

BUDAPEST- 12 May 2019: Egypt's Farida Othman on Saturday won a silver medal at the second tournament of the 2019 FINA Champions Swim Series, held in Budapest, Hungary.

The Egyptian swimmer finished second at the women's 100m butterfly competition with 58.32 seconds, just 1.54 seconds after Swedish Sarah Sjostrom, who claimed the title.

The first event of the series was hosted by China's Guangzhou in April, while the third will be held in Indianapolis of the United States on May 31- June 1.
