CAIRO – 17 April 2019: Egypt assistant manager, Hany Ramzy, revealed on Tuesday that the national team winger, Mohamed Salah, believes that the national team can win four consecutive African Cup of nations titles.

“We were talking about the golden generation achievements of winning three consecutive African Cup of nations titles between 2006 and 2010 and he responded that this generation can surpass what they have done.” Ramzy said on Tuesday.

Salah led the national team to 2017 African Cup of nations final but they lost the title 2-1 to Cameron.

The team has a chance to win the title this year as Egypt hosts the tournament for the first time since 2006 when Egypt won the title.

Ramzy added “Salah is an ambitious player and he is focusing on his season with Liverpool and he wants to win Premier League and UEFA Champions League titles.”

Salah led his team to defeat Chelsea 2-0 on Sunday at the Premier League.

Mane opened the score for Liverpool at the first minutes of the first half and 142 seconds later Salah doubled the score for the hosts.
Salah received the ball 25 yards out and shot the ball that Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, failed to stop.

Liverpool’s victory sent them to the Premier League top and they are two points ahead of the defending champions, Manchester City, who still have a postponed game.
