Tanta returns to Egyptian Premier League

CAIRO, 11 April 2019: Tanta SC succeeded to promote to the Egyptian Premier League next season after being relegated last season.

Tanta defeated Sedy Salem at Kafr El Sheikh Stadium in the 25th round of the Egyptian League’s Second division as they compete in Group C.

Tanta’s points rose to 49 which guarantee its qualification to the Egyptian Premier League as they are five points ahead the second-placed. Al Sayed El Badawy sons end their matches against Abo Qeer in the last round of the second division.

Tanta is led by Ayman Al Mazin as coach, with Mohamed Attia as general coach, Walid Al Mahrouki, Osama Laila as assistant coaches and Adel Al Khatib as goalkeeping coach while Alaa Okasha has been in charge as football director.

It’s worth to mention that Aswan also have been promoted to the Egyptian Premier League after their 2-1 victory over Al Nasr Lel Taa’den.
