We await Al-Ahly fans on Saturday: Mohamed Youssef

CAIRO - 11 April 2019: Mohamed Youssef, the general coach of Al-Ahly, sent the fans a message after beating Misr Al-Makassah 2-1 in the Egyptian League.

"I congratulate Al-Ahly fans on winnin;, it is a good result," Youssef said on the club's channel after defeating Misr Al-Makassah in the 28th round of the Egyptian League at Petrosport Stadium on Wednesday.

"We are currently focusing on the next game against Sundowns and I hope we will succeed on Saturday. We await Al-Ahly fans in Borg El-Arab," Youssef added.

Al-Ahly players want to reconcile their fans after their 5-0 loss to South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns, at the CAF Champions League quarter finals first leg.

The team fans hope to see a massive reaction from the players after the humiliating loss.

The Red Devils will host Sundowns on Saturday night at Borg El Arab Stadium. The stadium is set to be packed by Al-Ahly fans after negotiations between Al-Ahly's president, Mahmoud el-Khatib, and security officials.
