CAIRO – 7 June 2017: England National Team manger, Gareth Southgate, decided to let the national team train with the Royal Marines ahead of the FIFA week.

England National Team commonly known as the “Three Lions” saw an unusual training at St. George’s Park. The squad arrived early morning and were informed to move to Devon, in order to train with the Royal Marines for two days.

Southgate said the FA’s official website, “We wanted to come and put the guys into a different environment, something they weren't expecting. “There were some team objectives around pushing themselves beyond where they thought they could go and knowing you don't want to let any of your team-mates down.”

The Three Lions will be playing against Scotland in the World Cup qualifiers on June 10. Then they will be facing the runners up of Euro 2016 France in a friendly match on June 13. According to the FIFA’s last ranking, England is ranked 13 worldwide.
