Shikabala's solo trainings prepare him for Zamalek's new season

CAIRO - 8 April 2019: Mahmoud Abdel Razek "Shikabala" is trying to keep his form and not be affected by the period of absence by training alone.

Shikabala is due to return to Zamalek next season, the club board of directors announced earlier.

The 33-year-old began the season with a loan from Zamalek to the Greek club Apollon, but he did not complete his contract and returned to Egypt to stay without a team until the start of the next season.

Shikabala played 11 games with Apollon this season between the league and the cup, scoring one goal and assisting another.

Shikabala will return to participate in Zamalek's training group sessions as soon as his contract with Apollon officially ends, which will happen once the season ends in the Greek league on May 12.

Shikabala has no right to participate in Zamalek's training at the present time so as not to be subjected to penalties by the Greek club because of the continuation of the contract signed between him and the officials of Apollon.
