CAIRO – 6 June 2017: Al-Ahly SC will receive the League's trophy at the end of the squad’s coming league's clash; Egyptian Football Association’s Chairman Hany Abou Rida told TV Sports Program “Al-Hareif” (the Skillful) broadcasted on DMC sports TV channel.
Despite the fact that Al-Ahly has yet got four remaining matches in the Egyptian Premier League, it managed to seal the Premier League after clinching a precious point from their 2-2 draw with the second-placed Misr el-Makassa for the 39th time in the club's history.
Al-Ahly currently stands on the top with 72 points, while Misr el-Makassa sits second with 64 points.
Speaking about the national team’s anticipated clash with Tunisia next Sunday, Abou Rida said that it is indeed a big game, but Uganda’s game is more important since it is the stepping stone for the African qualifications for the World Cup.
National team will be facing its Tunisian counterparts on June 11 within the 2019 CAF Champions League qualifiers, while the team’s clash with the Ugandan side is slated for August 27 and September 2.
