CAIRO, March 13 – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) inspecting committee on Wednesday finished inspection of the 10 stadia hosting the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2019.
The inspecting committee toured different stadiums nationwide before submitting a report on preparations and facilities for the tournament.
Ahmed Megahed, general coordinator of the AFCON Organizing Committee, and Mohamed Fadl, tournament manager, were also among officials inspecting the stadia.
The committee also inspected the place, where the tournament’s draw is set to be held on April 12 in Giza.
The 2019 AFCON will be hosted by Egypt from June 21 to July 19. (MENA)
