CAIRO – 11 March 2019: Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, revealed on Monday that he prefers achieving Champions League title than winning the Premier League title.

“I love the Champions League and I always feel it is the most decorated competition and I want to win it. However, Premier League title is the dream of the club and the city.” Salah said during a press conference.

Salah led Liverpool to UEFA Champions League Final last season but he suffered a shoulder injury at the first half and left the pitch in tears and watched his team 3-1 loss from the stands.

This season, Liverpool reached round of 16 and the draw put them against German giants, Bayern Munich.

The first leg in Liverpool ended with a goalless draw and the English team players hope to secure qualification to the quarter finals when they face Bayern Munch in Germany on Wednesday.

At the Premier League, Liverpool comes second at the table with 73 points, one point behind the leaders, Manchester City.
